Richard Ascough is a Professor in the School of Religion and cross-appointed to the Department of Classics, although he is currently serving as the Associate Dean (International) in the Faculty of Arts and Science at Queen’s University in Kingston, Canada. Professor Ascough achieved his Ph.D. at Toronto School of Theology, University of St. Michael’s College, 1997. His research focuses on the history of early Christianity and Greco-Roman religious culture with particular attention to various types of associations.
