Introduction

Tom Stoneham is the professor at the department of philosophy, University of York.

Academic Qualifications:

Ph.D. (University of London) 1995 On Knowing What I am Thinking

M.Phil. (University of London) 1991 Externalism and First Person Authority

B.A. (Oxford University) 1989 Philosophy, Politics, Economics - 1st Class

Current Post:

Dean of Graduate Research School, Vice Chancellor’s Office, University of York.

Areas of Specialization:

17th /18th Century British Philosophy (especially Berkeley and immaterialism)

Philosophy of Mind: Self-Knowledge, Perception, Consciousness, Dreaming

Metaphysics of Modality and Time

Service:
