Basic Information
Zhou Fan graduated with a master's degree in Marxist philosophy from Northeast Normal University and a doctorate in foreign philosophy from Fudan University. He was engaged in postdoctoral research in philosophy at Nankai University. He is now a professor at School of Philosophy and center for Studies of Value and Culture in Beijing Normal University.
Main Research Field
He is mainly engaged in research on Marxist philosophy, foreign Marxism, post-Marxism and Western radical theory.
Main Published Books
He has edited three anthologies, including Post-Marxism, Post-Marxism: Critique and Defense, and Political and Economic Analysis of Agriculture. He has published an academic monograph, Introduction to Post-Marxism, and more than 60 academic papers (translations).
Adjunct Academic Posts
He is an adjunct professor at Xiamen University, and an executive director of the Chinese Contemporary Foreign Marxist Research Association.
