Ph.D.(Oxford), Associate Professor of the History and Philosophy of Science.Before he joined Beijing Normal University in 2019, he had been the Associate Professor of Translation Studies at Lanzhou Jiaotong University.

His research areas include Newton Studies, science and religion, and scriptural translation studies in the Chinese context. 

  Main Published Books

His translations from English into Chinese include two of the Oxford Very Short Introductions, Newton (Yilin/OUP, 2009) and Science and Religion (Yilin, forthcoming).
